The Gulag Archipelago
In school, I learned a lot about the Holocausts but I never really learned about the atrocities of Communism in the Soviet Union. This book is written by a survivor of the Soviet work camps and goes into great detail on his and other’s experiences during this time.
I highly recommend educating yourself on this topic. There are not a lot of books about this topic and none so detailed as this one. I think this book is especially relevant today with both Communism and Nazism being such prevalent topics. Please read! It took me a while to get through it, but it was worth it.
