Hunger Games
Last year I re-watched the Hunger Games movies, which made me want to reread the entire series (which I did), after which I re-watched the entire series again because I just couldn’t get enough. I love these books. Even if you’ve already watched all the movies I still recommend reading these books.
These books will always be one of my favorites. They force you to think about the cost of war and the price of freedom, does any party fighting for a “cause” truly have good intentions or all they all just after power? … and so on.
As far as characters, Katniss is one of my favorite heroes. She’s also the most reluctant hero I’ve ever come across and you can’t help but love her more for it.
I could go on all day about this book but forget me… read the Hunger Games!
